TheMC722ST‐XXauto‐negotiatingfastEthernetmediaconvertersetisdesignedtotranslatesbetween10/100Base‐TXcopperand
100Base‐FXfastEthernetfibercabling.Themediaconverterenablesyoutoextendthedistanceofyour10/100Ethernetnetwork
upto100km(XXinthepartnumberwillindicatemaxdistance).

TheConvertersareequippedwith[1]duplexSCfiberconnectortotransmitdataovertwofibers.
SixLEDindicatorsarebuiltinforeasymonitoringandsystemdiagnosticsforpower,fiberandUTP,linkandactivity.

Refertotheabovediagramwheninstalling.Usebestindustrypracticesandfollowalllocalbuildingcodes.
1)Connectanetworkpatchcablefromthenetworkequipment’sEthernetstothereceiver.
2)ConnectaSingleModefibercablebetweenthetransmitterandthereceiverusingSCfiberconnectors.
3)Connect
anetworkpatchcablefromthetransmitter’sEthernetjacktotheremoteIPdevice(IPcamerainthisexample).
4)Connectthesuppliedpowertransformerstothetransmitterandreceiver.
