Disconnect the WAN, Ethernet, and power cables from the Beacon 2; see Figure 7-1, “Beacon
2 connections” (p. 49)
for the connector locations on the Beacon 2.

Replace the Beacon 2 with the new device. The device can be placed on any flat surface, such
as a desk or shelf.

Connect the Ethernet cable directly to the RJ-45 port; see Figure 7-1, “Beacon 2 connections”
(p. 49)
for the location of the RJ-45 port.
