Procedure 25 Firewall configuration
1 Select Security > Firewall from the top-level menu in the GPON Home Gateway window, as
shown in Figure 41.

Three security levels are available: High, Low, and Off.
High—Traffic denied inbound and minimally permit common services outbound
Low—All outbound traffic and pinhole-defined inbound traffic is allowed
Off—All inbound and outbound traffic is allowed

Security level Choose the security level from the drop-down menu: High, Low, or Off
Attack Protect
(Protection against DoS or
DDoS attacks)
Choose enable or disable attack protect from the drop-down menu
The default is Enable
