Introduction Introduction The Nokia Video Call Stand PT-8 allows you to use your Nokia 6630 phone for hands-free video calls. Thanks to its foldable, compact size and light weight, the stand is easy to carry. Read this user guide carefully before using the stand. More detailed information is provided in the user guide of your Nokia 6630 phone. Do not use this user guide in place of the user guide of your phone, which provides important safety and maintenance information.
1. Overview Nokia Video Call Stand has the following parts: Camera lens (1) The indicator light (2) is green when the stand is powered by the AC-1 or ACP-12 charger and the phone is plugged into the Pop-Port connector. When the light is continuously on, the phone and stand are ready for video calling. Pop-Port connector (3) Charger jack (4) The dc cable (5) allows you to charge your phone while the phone is placed in the stand and the dc plug is connected to the phone. Copyright © 2004 Nokia.
Using the stand 2. Using the stand ■ Placing your phone in the stand 1. Detach the plug-end of the dc cable from the back of the stand. 2. Connect the stand to an AC-1 or ACP-12 charger. 3. 4. Plug the phone into the stand, and insert the plug-end of the dc cable into the charger jack of your phone. The charger also charges the phone battery. 5. Verify that the indicator light is green, indicating that the stand is ready for use. ■ Making a video call 1. When the phone is properly placed in the stand, adjust the camera and viewing angle by tilting the stand to the desired position. 2. Make or answer a video call as described in the user guide of your Nokia 6630 phone.
