Introduction The ZUS Wireless Smart Backup Camera is easy to install and built to fit your license plate. Install in just 10 minutes and get 170-degree field of view right on your smartphone.
Getting Started 1 Charge the Device RED Connect the charging cord to the Backup Camera. Then, plug the charging cord into a USB car charger or your car's built-in USB port. The front LED will turn RED when charging. GREEN Once the battery is fully charged, the LED will turn Green. Disconnect the charging cable.
2 Search for “ZUS” on the Apple App Store or Google Play. After downloading the app to your mobile phone, open the ZUS app and click on “add a Smart Backup Camera”. 3 Long press 3 seconds Long press the button for 3 seconds to activate the camera. 4 Follow the installation video on the ZUS app.
Installation 1. Standard Installation Unscrew the bottom two screws from your license plate.
Align the top two holes of the mounting plate to the bottom two holes of your license plate. Screw on the M6 long screws and tighten them with the provided hex wrench. Place your ZUS Smart Backup Camera on the mounting plate and tighten the screws at both ends.
2. Non-standard Installation Scenario 1 If your car does not have these two screw holes, but you are willing to drill holes on your car, please use the M6 Self-taping Screw for drilling purposes. Continue the rest of the installation process as described in the Standard Installation. Place your ZUS Smart Backup Camera on the mounting plate and tighten the screws at both ends.
3. Non-standard Installation Scenario 2 If your car does not have these two screw holes and you are NOT willing to drill holes on your car, please do the following. Take off your license plate. Place the provided hex nuts at the back of the license plate. Align the nuts with the bottom two holes of your license plate. Align the top two holes of the mounting plate with the bottom two holes of your license plate. Screw the M6 short screws on and tighten them with the provided hex wrench.
Insert the rubber underneath the license plate. Place your ZUS Smart Backup Camera on the mounting plate and tighten the screws at the both ends.
Troubleshooting Procedures If you cannot connect the device on the ZUS App, please follow check in the following sequence for troubleshooting. 1. Have you turned on your mobile’s bluetooth? 2. Have you turned on your mobile’s wi-fi? 3. Have you been connected to the correct wi-fi: ZUS_BACKUP_CAM? If the above troubleshooting procedures don’t work, please contact our customer service at cs@nonda.us.
