1 Introduction Congratulations on your purchase of the NORAC UC5 Spray Height Control System. This system is manufactured with top quality components and is engineered using the latest technology to provide operating reliability unmatched for years to come. The enhanced stability option is designed to improve performance on booms that have multiple pivot geometries, or problematic pivot behavior.
2 Kit Parts 2.1 List of Parts The following tables list the items included with your kit. 4 Roll Sensor Installation 1. Determine the location where the Reference Frame roll sensor will be mounted. It must be mounted on the sprayer chassis on a non-moving part. 2. Securely mount the roll sensor to the included roll sensor bracket using the #6 machine screws. 3. The orientation of the mounted roll sensor to the roll sensor bracket will depend on the bracket mounting.
5 Electrical Installation 1. Remove the existing cable C03 from the existing input module (E03). 2. Connect one end of cable C03 to the existing input module (E03) and the other end to the 3-way coupler (E10). 3. Connect existing cable C03 to the third connector on the 3-way coupler (E10). 4. Connect one end of cable C04 to the 2-way coupler (E12) and the other end to the 3-way coupler (E10). 5. Connect the cable from the Roll Sensor (E04) to the other end of the 2-way coupler (E12). 6.
6 Software Setup 1. Turn on the power for the display terminal using the switch on the side. 2. It is now necessary to perform an Automatic Setup. Refer to the UC5 Operator Manual for instructions how to do this. 3. Confirm operation of the system in automatic mode. If stability is improved, the system was automatically able to configure the enhanced stability settings and the system is ready to use.
