9.7 Hydraulic Plumbing
From this point on in the installation the booms will be inoperative until the
hydraulics are fully installed.
1. After the NORAC valve is mounted, the hydraulic hoses and fittings can be plumbed. The
plumbing for the hydraulic circuit is shown schematically in Figure 3.
2. Connect the NORAC supplied hoses (H01) to the pressure and tank ports on the NORAC
valve block (V01).
3. Tee the hoses (H01) into the tank and pressure ports on the sprayer valve block with
8FORXR-8MORT fittings (F04).
4. The existing hoses that run to the tilt cylinders should be disconnected from the sprayer
valve block. Connect the 6FORXR 6MORT fittings (F03) in line with the JD valve block and
the existing tilt cylinder hoses.
5. Attach the 6MOR 6FORX90 fittings (F07) to the 6FORXR 6MORT fittings (F03).
6. Connect 4 hoses (H01) from the 6MOR 6FORX90 fittings (F07) to the “A” and “B” ports
on the NORAC valve block.
7. The “raise” lines must be connected to the "B" ports of the NORAC valve block. The "A"
ports of the NORAC block must be connected to the “lower” lines of the cylinders.
8. Attach hose H01 to the “B” port on the 3
rd
station of the block. Route the free end of the
hose to the John Deere valve block. Tee in H01 to the existing main lift line on the John
Deere valve block, using the 6FORXR 6MORT fitting (F03).
