5-8 Start-up/Shutdown
Service Shutdown in FMDOS
Use the following recommended procedures to shutdown the Century Series system for
service or removal. This procedure is for service technicians only.
To shut down for service:
1. Wait for the dispensing program to complete.
2. Press
SYSTEM RESET
or open the door to engage the Safety Interlock.
3. Remove workpieces from the dispensing area.
4. Remove the syringe from the dispense head.
5. Clean or purge your fluid pump, refer to your Valve or Fluid Pump manual.
6. Press the Power Switch on the Control Panel to OFF ( ) .
7. Press the Main Power In switch on the rear of the Century Series system to
OFF
( ).
8. Unplug the Main Power Plug.
9. Remove the air supply by disconnecting your air source from Main Air In.
10. Perform service as necessary.
