Scripted Prompted Setup
Scripted Prompted Setup is similar to the original Prompted Setup procedure, however you have the
option of selecting a script file at the beginning of a prompted setup. The script file customizes the setup
procedure to your particular dispensing system. Any of the setup scripts (.pss files) can be loaded as a
prompted setup routine and can be modified to meet your specific setup routine. Refer to Online Help for
instructions on how to create a Setup Script.
" NOTE Century and M-600 Series Dispensing Systems support the original Prompted
Setup routine, as well as Scripted Prompted Setup. M-2000 and X-1000 Series
Dispensing Systems support only Scripted Prompted Setup.
To change a Script File:
1. Select
Configuration from the Main Menu.
2. Click on
Setup Scripts Options.
!The dialog box shown in Figure 4-33 opens.

3. Click on Prompted Setup, Change Syringe, or Low Fluid depending on which scripted
setup procedure you want to assign a new file.
4. Choose a script file from the directory and click on
OK.
!The name of the new .pss file appears in the text box below the button.
" NOTE If your dispensing system is equipped with a Dual Action Dispensing Head, you
must select a script file for each valve. Select the script files for Valve 1, then
select Valve 2 and the script files. Both valves may use the same script files.
