7 Advanced Programming
Overview
This section discusses and demonstrates some of the more advanced techniques for perfecting your
dispensing programs, including:
Creating and Placing Patterns
Multipass Patterns
Step and Repeat
Variable Valve Speed
Jet on the Fly
Dynamic Dispense Control
"NOTE You should complete the Programming Basics and Setup and Beginning
Programming sections before attempting the exercises in this section.
You will perform four exercises utilizing the Pattern, Multipass Pattern, Step and Repeat, and Variable
Valve Speed features. You will also learn how to increase throughput by using timers and skip marks and
reusing fiducials and height sense information. In the exercises detailed in this section, the following
acronyms are used:
(ULHC) Upper Left-Hand Corner
(URHC) Upper Right-Hand Corner
(LLHC) Lower Left Hand Corner
(LRHC) Lower Right Hand Corner
