SEMI E10/E58 Equipment States
FmNT supports the SEMI E10 and E58 specifications, which describe six basic equipment states used to
monitor the activity of a machine. FmNT provides the ability to view, change, and record these
equipment states. See “E10 Equipment States” in the System Configuration and Setup section.
Simplified Setup/Configuration Routines
You can access various configuration and setup routines from the FmNT Main Window. A Master
Offsets routine prompts you through initial system and software calibration for the height sensor, camera
offset, purge station, and scale station locations, which makes initial setup fast and easy. In addition, the
Production Window has a Setup menu designed for use by production operators. Manual setup options
are also available for specific setup tasks, giving the operator quick control over all production functions.
Local Machine Offsets
For factories that run the same FmNT dispensing program on multiple machines, the goal is to have one
“golden” program. Because no two machines perform exactly alike, in order for a program written on
one machine to perform the same on another machine, some correction or calibration is required. Local
Machine Offsets (LMO) is a group of three features that help obtain the goal of one “golden” program.
See “Local Machine Offsets” in the System Configuration and Setup section.
Saved Valve Configurations
FmNT allows the user to save valve configurations. With this feature, customized valve settings can be
saved and easily restored. See “Valve Setup” in the System Configuration and Setup section.
SPC Data Logging
For production run statistics, FmNT can collect board tracking data, production lot tracking, flow rate
calibration data, and fluid lot data. The information is collected in an ASCII format data file, which can
be read by any standard text reader or editor, such as Notepad. See “Logging” in the System
Configuration and Setup section.
User Levels
You can select and configure user levels to suite your production needs. FmNT includes three different
default levels of operation. See “Operation Level” in the System Configuration and Setup section.
1. Service - Allows access to all windows and features.
2. System - Allows full access to all windows and menus, but restricts access to certain features.
3. Production - Limits access to the Production Window, Run Window, and production level
setup procedures only.
