Step and Repeat
The Step and Repeat feature allows you to quickly and easily place the same pattern or dispensing
instructions at multiple locations on a single workpiece. Once you have programmed the dispensing
instruction, you can use Step and Repeat to repeat it in a defined array at other locations on the board.
The first step in the Step and Repeat process is to select/highlight the command that you want to repeat.
Once the command is highlighted, click on the
Step and Repeat button on the Program Commands
toolbar. The Step and Repeat Teach Window shown in Figure 7-14 opens.

" NOTE Notice the graphics in the video display screen. The blue squares represent the
line, dot, rectangle, etc. to be placed at multiple locations on the workpiece.
The Step and Repeat Teach Window contains the options required to place your pattern in multiple
locations defined by the array. Notice that the Teach Window has three tabs. Click on the tabs to view
the available options. The Step and Repeat Teach Window options are described in Table 7-1.
