4-2 System Configuration and Setup
Preferences
User Preferences for FmNT are located on the Configuration menu in the Main Window. You may
change these preferences at any time.
" NOTE Changing a preference establishes a new default setting. The new setting will be
in effect until the preference is changed again.
Preferences include:
• Language • Logging
• Units • Machine Offsets
• Operation Level • Setup Scripts Options
• Password • Runtime Preferences
• Feature Access
Language
This feature lets you select the language FmNT will use. A check mark (9) appears in front of the
currently selected language.
To set up language:
1. Select
Configuration from the Main Menu.
2. Choose
Select Language.
3. Click the desired language to select.
Units
This feature lets you select a unit of measurement for all measurements displayed in FmNT. A check
mark (9) appears in front of the currently selected unit.
To set up units:
1. Select
Configuration from the Main Menu.
2. Choose
Setup Units.
3. Click the desired measurement unit to select.
