3-12 Installation and Setup
3.9.1 Hardware Setup
Hardware Setup is used to adjust the magazine guides, conveyor and gripper/kicker for customer specific
magazines and parts.
Tools and Materials Needed:
 Magazines
 Carriers
 Hex Keys : 3 mm , 2.5 mm, 2 mm
 Ruler
 Magazine Guides with Spring Clamps (included with MH-900, installed on table)
 MH Square Tool (included in the MH-900 accessories kit)
To setup the hardware:
1. Click on in the Configuration Menu (Figure 3-18).
 The Magazine and Part Setup window opens (Figure 3-19).
2. Follow the screen prompts to setup the hardware.

3.9.1.1 Magazine and Part Setup
1. Setup Magazine Slots.
a. Align the reference rail with the front conveyor rail. Note that the front reference rail
does not include spring clamps.
 Use a ruler or straight edge to verify that the reference guide is parallel to the front
conveyor rail. If needed, adjust reference guide by using an 3mm key to loosen 3
screws that retain guide.
 Figure 3-20 shows a completed magazine slot setup in the standard ‘four-
magazine’ configuration. Your application may require more magazine slots, which
requires additional magazine guides.
