f. Adjust the MH-900 conveyor rails leaving a gap of 1 mm (1/32-inch) on one side of the

carrier.

g. Using the 3 mm hex key, tighten the two bolts on the moveable MH-900 conveyor rail.

h. Ensure the carrier can slide smoothly in and out of the magazine.

3. Align Conveyor Input and Output Lookup Sensors.

a. Place a carrier into the magazine.

b. Place the magazine into a magazine slot.

c. From the Jog Screen (Figure 3-40), use the shuttle and elevator arrow keys to move the

elevator and shuttle until the top carrier can be loaded onto the conveyor.

d. Use your fingers to push the carrier onto the conveyor belt to verify the correct

alignment. Readjust the alignment if necessary.

e. Verify that the Carrier In sensor is turned ON when the carrier reaches the front end

(magazine side) of the conveyor. If not, make the necessary adjustments.

 To make adjustments, use a hex key to loosen the M3 screws on the bracket

holding the Carrier In sensor. See Figure 3-24.

 Align the Carrier In sensor so that it is aimed at the edge of the carrier as it is

reaches the conveyor belt.
