a. Using the carrier edge as a reference, adjust the gripper assembly mounting height so
that the bottom and top clearance gap is the same.
b. The gripper/pusher assembly can be adjusted by loosening the four (4) screws holding
the gripper assembly.
When loosening screws, support the assembly to prevent it from dropping too
quickly.
c. Tighten the four (4) screws.
3. Close the gripper to test the alignment (loader only).
a. Pull the part onto the conveyor and close the gripper by toggling Close/Open Gripper
button.
b. When gripper holds part, the height of part should be even with the conveyor belt.
If a part is too high above the conveyor belt, excessive drag may occur between the
top surface of the part and the magazine slot.
If the gripper tries to pull part below the level of the conveyor belts, excessive drag
can occur between the bottom surface of the part and the conveyor belts.
NOTE Incorrect gripper height can cause parts to be mispicked or can result in
excessive drag during loading/unloading.
4. Open the gripper (loader only).
