5.10 Conveyor Belt Replacement



NOTE

Replacement requires access through the removal and installation of service panels.

See 5.8 Removal and Replacement of Access Panels.

Tools and Materials Needed:

• Metric hex key set

• Phillips-head screwdriver

5.10.1 Belt Removal

1. Remove and discard the damaged MH-900 conveyor belt from the pulley drives at the left-

hand side of the conveyor assembly area. See Figure 5-2.

 NOTE Always replace both left and right hand side conveyor belts when replacing

conveyor belts.

2. Remove and discard the damaged MH-900 conveyor belt from the pulley drives at the right

hand side of the conveyor assembly area.

5.10.2 Belt Installation

1. Install a new MH-900 conveyor belt to pulley drives from the left-hand side of the conveyor

assembly area.

2. Install a new MH-900 conveyor belt to pulley drives from the right hand side of the conveyor

assembly area.
