INSTALLATION WARNING: Connect to a potable water supply only. It is recommended to install a water filter. The water inlet hose would connect to the filter and to the inlet valve on the machine. 1. During transportation, the incline angle of the ice maker should not exceed 45°. To prevent damage to the compressor or refrigeration systems, the ice maker should ALWAYS remain right side up. 2. Unpack the ice maker and remove all documents and spare parts. 3.
OPERATION NOTE: If there is something wrong with the water supply system, the ice maker will restart automatically in 24 hours. Otherwise, you will need to stop the ice maker and restart it. NOTE: DO NOT remove the block water board while the ice maker is running. NOTE: NEVER keep anything other than ice in the ice storage bin. Objects like wine and beer should not be stored in the ice bin as these bottles are unsanitary and the labels may slip off and plug up the drain. 1.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE Periodic cleaning and proper maintenance will ensure efficiency, top performance and long life. There are four areas to keep clean: a. The exterior b. The interior c. The sprinkler d. The ice making system NOTE: If the ice maker is left unused for a long time, it must be thoroughly cleaned before the next use. Carefully follow any instructions provided for cleaning or use of sanitizing solution. DO NOT leave any solution inside the ice maker after cleaning.
SPRINKLER CLEANING NOTE: The sprinkler should only be cleaned when you find that some ice cubes are improperly shaped. You should clean the ice making system after cleaning the sprinkler. NOTE: DO NOT use solvent-based cleaning agents or abrasives on the interior. These cleaners may transmit taste to the ice cubes or damage or discolor the interior. 1. Disconnect the power supply cord. 2. Open the door and remove the block water board by snapping one end up and pulling forward. 3.

Make sure there is no ice on the evaporator or in the ice storage bin. c. Turn off the water faucet. d. Remove any standing water from the water box. e. Fill the water box with water and food safe ice maker cleaner per instructions on cleaner. f. Make sure the water box is level and filled with the solution above the level of the float ball.
MAINTENANCE NOTES 1. 2. Attention a. If the compressor stops for any reason such as water shortage, too much ice, etc. DO NOT restart the unit right away. To protect the compressor, wait five minutes before restarting. b. Regularly check the connectors of the water inlet and outlet tubes. Drain any surplus water that may occur. c. When not used for a long period of time, remove all items from the compartment and disconnect the power supply cord from the wall outlet.
c. Change the condensor sensor. Figure 8 Remove the grill and cover, open the control box cover, and remove the condensor connector. Cut the tie holding the condenser sensor to remove it and replace with a new one. d. Change the water inlet valve. NOTE: Sometimes the water inlet valve is blocked instead of broken and needs to be cleaned only. Figure 9 Remove the water inlet valve fixing screw, water pipe fixing clip and water pipe and replace with the new water inlet valve.
g. Change the water level sensor. Figure 12 Remove the cover, open the door, remove the dash plate and control box cover, and take down the water level sensor connecting wire. Remove the water level sensor screw to disconnect the sensor. Replace with new sensor and reconnect it. h. Change the pump. Remove the cover, open the door, and remove the dash plate and water box. Figure 13 Remove the pump seal and fixing, pull out the pump and disconnect the pump pipe and install the new pump. i.
j. Change the compressor. Figure 15 Remove the grill and the cover, cut open the processing pipe,empty the refrigerant. Remove the compressor connecting wire. 16 Separate the connecting pipe of the compressor by welder, and remove the compressor screw and compressor. Replace with new compressor and reconnect the pipe and the wire. Vacuumize, add refrigerant and seal.
TROUBLESHOOTING Please reference the below table to identify the cause and solution of your particular problem. If you cannot solve the problem on your own, please contact our Customer Service Department toll-free at 888-775-0202. PROBLEMS The ice maker does not work. POSSIBLE CAUSES SOLUTIONS The voltage is lower than 98V. Turn off the ice maker. Restart the unit only when the voltage is normal. The ambient temperature is too low (< 50°F/10°C).
Ice level light on. Ice maker is full of ice normally. Remove ice. Dash plate is blocked by ice and can not reset. Automatically reset after the ice melts. Ice full on display when the ice basket is with little ice. Open the door and take out the ice in blockage. Hall device, connector or components are loose. Connect the wire on the control board to the evaporator. Hall device breakdown. Change the Hall device. Breakdown of magnetic valve. Change the dash plate. Not making ice.
LIMITED WARRANTY MC Appliance Corporation warrants each new Commercial Ice Maker to be free from defects in material and workmanship and agrees to remedy any such defect or to furnish a new part(s) (at the company’s option) for any part(s) of the unit that has failed during the warranty period. INSTALACIÓN ADVERTENCIA: Conecte solo a un suministro de agua potable. Se recomienda la instalación de un filtro de agua. La manguera de entrada de agua debería conectarse al filtro y a la válvula de entrada en la máquina. 1. Durante su transporte, el ángulo de inclinación de la máquina para fabricar hielo no debería exceder los 45º. Para evitar el daño al compresor en los sistemas de refrigeración, la máquina para fabricar hielo siempre debería permanecer con el lado derecho hacia arriba. 2.
OPERACIÓN NOTA: Si hay algo mal con el sistema de suministro de agua, la máquina para fabricar hielo se reiniciará automáticamente en 24 horas. De lo contrario, tendrá que apagar la máquina para fabricar hielo y reiniciarla. NOTA: NO quite el tablero de bloque de agua mientras la máquina para fabricar hielo esté en funcionamiento. NOTA: NUNCA mantenga otra cosa que no sea hielo en el compartimiento de almacenamiento de hielo.
LIMPIEZA Y MANTENIMIENTO Una limpieza periódica y un mantenimiento adecuado garantizarán la eficiencia, un rendimiento superior y una vida prolongada. Se deben mantener limpias cuatro áreas: a. El exterior b. El interior c. El aspersor d. El sistema de fabricación de hielo NOTA: Si no se usa la máquina para fabricar hielo por un largo periodo de tiempo, debe limpiarse exhaustivamente antes del próximo uso.
3. Enjuague bien con agua limpia. El agua residual se drenará a través del tubo de drenaje. 4. Enchufe la máquina para fabricar hielo. LIMPIEZA DEL ASPERSOR NOTA: El aspersor solo debe limpiarse cuando encuentra que algunos cubos de hielo se forman incorrectamente. Debe limpiar el sistema de fabricación de hielo después de limpiar el aspersor. NOTA: NO utilice agentes limpiadores basados en solventes o abrasivos en el interior.
6. Luego de completar el paso 5, quite la caja de agua y la cubierta del evaporador. Limpie estas partes con agua entre 95 y 122°F (35-50°C). Enjuague y limpie la cubierta interior del compartimiento de almacenamiento de hielo. 7. Una vez que haya completado los procesos anteriores, tire los cubos de hielo. LIMPIEZA DEL EVAPORADOR 1. Preparación Figura 4 1-d. Saque el contenedor de agua y vacíe el agua. 2. 1-f. Posición del flotante 1-f. Llene con solución de lavado. a. Apague la hielera. b.
e. Repita el ciclo de 1 a 2 veces para incrustaciones pesadas. f. Verifique el evaporador después de la limpieza, si no está limpio, retire la “puerta del compartimiento de almacenamiento de hielo” y límpiela suavemente con un cepillo suave. (Tenga cuidado de no dañar el gancho). NOTA: NO rocíe el evaporador con agua para evitar que las piezas eléctricas se mojen. NOTA: NO use un raspador o cepillo duro para limpiar el evaporador NOTA: El contenedor de agua se puede retirar para limpiar 3.
NOTAS DE MANTENIMIENTO 1. Atención a. Si el compresor se detiene por alguna razón como escasez de agua, demasiado hielo, etc. NO reinicie la unidad de inmediato. Para proteger el compresor, espere cinco minutos antes de reiniciar. b. Verifique regularmente los conectores de los tubos de entrada y salida de agua. Drene cualquier exceso de agua que pueda ocurrir. c.
c. Cambie el sensor del condensador. Figura 8 Retire la parrilla y la tapa; abra la tapa de la caja de control y retire el conector del condensador. Corte la atadura que sujeta el sensor del condensador para quitarlo y reemplazarlo por uno nuevo. d. Cambie la válvula de entrada de agua. NOTA: A veces la válvula de entrada de agua no está rota sino que está bloqueada, y solo debe limpiarse.
g. Cambie el sensor de nivel de agua. Figura 12 Retire la tapa, abra la puerta, retire la placa del tablero y la tapa de la caja de control y retire el cable de conexión del sensor de nivel del agua. Retire el tornillo del sensor de nivel de agua para desconectar el sensor. Reemplace con un nuevo sensor y vuelva a conectarlo. h. Cambie la bomba. Retire la tapa, abra la puerta y retire la placa del tablero y el contenedor de agua.
j. Cambie el compresor. Figura 15 Retire la parrilla y la tapa, abra la tubería de procesamiento, vacíe el refrigerante. Retire el cable de conexión del compresor. 38 Separe la tubería de conexión del compresor por el soldador y retire el tornillo del compresor y el compresor. Reemplace con un nuevo compresor y vuelva a conectar la tubería y el cable. Aspire, agregue refrigerante y selle.
SOLUCIÓN DE PROBLEMAS Consulte la tabla que aparece abajo para identificar la causa y la solución de su problema particular. El compresor funciona, pero no se fabricó hielo. El compresor no funciona. La luz indicadora de agua baja se ilumina. CAUSAS POSIBLES SOLUCIONES El voltaje es inferior a 98V. Apague la hielera.
La luz indicadora de agua baja se ilumina. La incrustación del agua desactiva el sensor de nivel de agua. Limpie la incrustación del agua en el sensor de nivel de agua. Avería del sensor de nivel de agua. Cambie el sensor de nivel de agua. Luz de nivel de hielo encendida. La hielera normalmente está llena de hielo. Retire el hielo. La placa del tablero está bloqueada por hielo y no puede reiniciarse. Reiniciar automáticamente después de que el hielo se derrita.
