4 If you replaced the hard disk, use Element Manager to restore the programming from the
recent backup.
If there is not a recent backup, continue with the next step.
5 Set the basic configuration parameters. Refer to “Configuring the BCM50 system” on page
123 for more information.
Warning: When you restart the system, all digital telephony, IP clients/voice
mail, and VoIP ports are not available until the system services restart.
