Connecting a Terminal with a 25-pin Comm Port to the Console Port
To connect a terminal to the console port, you need the following items, which are
shipped with the Versalar 15000:
• Serial console cable with 9-pin receptacle to 25-pin plug connectors
(Order No. 110307)
• Null modem crossover adapter with two 25-pin receptacle connectors
(Order No. 110308)
To connect a terminal to the Versalar 15000:
1.
Turn on and configure the terminal, using the parameters in Tab le 4-2 .
Refer to the terminal user manual for instructions.
