250 Install and conﬁgure IP Trunk 3.01 (and later) node

The IP trunk card uses the addresses in the routing table entries to

route signaling packets over the ELAN network interface gateway

(router) on the ELAN subnet. Without routing table entries, the IP

trunk card routes signaling trafﬁc over the TLAN network interface

gateway. Sending signaling trafﬁc over the TLAN subnet can affect

voice quality.

Click Apply.

Click OK to exit the window.

To transmit the information to the node, from the menu select

Conﬁguration > Synchronize > Transmit.

Conﬁgure Accounting server

If a Radius Accounting Server is not used, skip this step. A Radius

Accounting Server collects call records from the IP trunk cards and

generates billing reports. Follow the steps in Procedure 23 "Conﬁguring a

Radius Accounting Server" (page 250) to conﬁgure a Radius Accounting

Server.
