Use the fields in the following table to view Virtual If Message Digest
information:
Virtual If Message Digest fields
Field Description
AreaId Specifies the ID of the area associated with the
virtual interface message digest entr y.
Neighbor Specifies the IP address of the neighbor router
associated with the virtual interface message
digest entry.
Index Specifies the index value of the virtual interface
message digest entry. The value is an integer
between 1 and 255.
Type Specifies the type of virtual interface digest
entry.
Key Specifies the key associated with the virtual
interface message digest entr y.

Click one of the labelled buttons across the bottom of the tab to
refresh the information in the view, insert or delete information, copy
settings, export information to an external file, or print.

Virtual If Message Digest creation
To create a Virtual Message Digest entry, use the following procedure.
Creating a Virtual If Message Digest entry

From the Device Manager main menu, select IP Routing. The IP
Routing menu appears.

Select OSPF. The OSPF window opens.

Select the Virtual If Message Digest tab. The Virtual If Message
Digest screen opens.

Click Insert. The OSPF, Insert Virtual If Message Digest window
opens.
