IP67 Combination D-SUB Connectors

CONEC Combination D-SUB Connectors with

IP67-rating are suitable for use in environments

where increased protection against moisture and

contamination is necessary. All IP67 protected

Combination D-SUB Connectors are supplied already

populated with signal, high voltage, high power or

coaxial contacts. This is necessary to provide factory

assurance that the connector is properly sealed thus

ensuring its reliable protection in harsh environments.

The type of protection is defined by IEC 60529 which

also specifies the suitability of electrical components

for various ambient conditions. CONEC water resistant

connectors ensure a continuously secure connection

compliant with the IP67 rating. They are dustproof and

protected against temporary submersion into water.

IP6 7 C o m b i n a t i o n D-SUB Connectors Technical informations Skin effect Alternating currents do not uniformly occupy the entire cross section of the conductor, rather inductance effect in the conductor deflects the current towards the surface of the conductor, whereby this deflection increases with the frequency. The resistive attenuation of a transmission line increases with the frequency as a result of this skin effect.
