Intended Use The NorTrac 3-Pt. Box Scraper features a rugged, welded, steel frame and reversible 1/2" x 6" highcarbon, steel blade. The scraper is a category 1, 3-point hitch.
Keep children and bystanders away from the work area while operating the box scraper. Do not allow children to handle the box scraper. Be aware of all power lines, electrical circuits, water pipes, and other mechanical hazards in your work area. Some of these hazards may be hidden from your view and may cause personal injury and/or property damage if contacted. PERSONAL SAFETY Stay alert, watch what you are doing, and use common sense when operating the box scraper.
Specific Operation Warnings To prevent serious injury or death: Read and understand this Owner’s Manual before operating, servicing, or repairing equipment. Stop the engine, remove the key, and set brake before dismounting the tractor. Operate from the tractor seat only. DO NOT operate without guards in place and in good condition. Never allow riders on equipment. Keep bystanders at least 25 feet away while operating. DO NOT operate or transport on steep inclines.

Preview the assembly instructions before proceeding further. If the assembly instructions call for parts or assemblies to be blocked up, use only blocking material that is in good condition and is capable of handling the weight of the assembly to be blocked. Also insure that the blocking material is on a clean, dry surface.
2. Assemble the left & right 3 Point Lift Bracket (#10) and the left & right Brace (#8) first, using 2 sets of M16 x110 Bolts (#2), M16 Lock Washers (#7), and M16 Nuts (#6). Connect them to the Scraper Box Frame (#1) with 2 sets of M16 x 60 Bolts (#9), M16 Lock Washers (#7) M16 Nuts (#6), and 2 sets of Lift Pins (#11), M22 Lock Washers (#5), and M22 Nuts (#4).
⚠CAUTION To prevent property damage, watch for and avoid catching the rake on stumps, large rocks, large dirt piles, and other immovable objects. ⚠WARNING DO NOT TAKE A DITCH AT 90° (straight on)! Always approach from an angle or damage may occur.
3. Never use your hands to locate a hydraulic leak on attachments. Use a small piece of cardboard or wood. 4. Never replace hex bolts with less than grade five bolts unless otherwise specified. Refer to bolt torque chart for head identification marking. Storage Safety 1. Store the unit in an area away from human activity. Do not permit children to play on or around the stored unit. 2. Make sure all parked machines are on a hard, level surface and engage all safety devices. 3.
