Maintenance The tie-rod cylinder will need to run three cycles without load. After the air is drained, it will be ready to run under load. The purpose is to ensure the smooth operation of the machine and protect the sealed parts. 1. Replace hydraulic oil and filter screen regularly during use to keep oil clean and extend the cylinder’s life. 2. During use, work within the cylinder’s pressure range to avoid the damage to the parts. 3.
