Foxx Life Sciences has developed the world’s rst hands-free
centrifuge tube ltration system. Each ltration unit includes a
sterile centrifuge tube and cap, 50ml funnel with PES membrane,
funnel adapter (for the 15ml tube assembly), vacuum hose adapter,
and dual centrifuge tube stand.
The Au t ol™ Centrifuge Funnel system is used for the sterilization
of tissue culture and microbiological media, buers, reagents, and
other laboratory solutions. This system avoids potential
contamination by eliminating any unnecessary uid transfer to the
centrifuge tube post-sterilization, and reduces the risk of spills.
This hands-free ltration system works in conjunction with the
Quick-Connect™ Pedestal or Cradle Ring which provide on/o
vacuum ow control. These two ltering options provide a
permanent vacuum hose connection and minimize set-up time.
Each unit also includes a vacuum hose adapter which allows a
direct vacuum hose connection if a
Quick-Connect™ Pedestal or Cradle Ring
is not available.
The Autol™ Centrifuge Funnel system
is oered as a full assembly, or funnel
only. Available sizes include a15ml and
50ml centrifuge tube with 0.1 µm, 0.2 µm
and 0.45 µm PES membrane pore-size
options.
