FIRST USE Cleaning the interior Before using the appliance for the first time, the interior and all internal accessories should be washed with lukewarm water and some neutral soap to remove the typical smell of a brand-new product, then dried thoroughly. CAUTION! Do not use detergents or abrasive powders, as these will damage the finish. DAILY USE WARNING! Refer to Safety chapters.

Storage of frozen food When first starting-up or after a period out of use, before putting the products in the compartment let the appliance run at least 2 hours on the higher settings.

Elektrischer Anschluss WARNUNG! Lagern von gefrorenen Lebensmitteln Lassen Sie das Gerät vor der ersten Inbetriebnahme oder nach einer Zeit, in der das Gerät nicht benutzt wurde, mindestens 2 Stunden lang mit höherer Einstellung laufen, bevor Sie Lebensmittel in das Gefrierfach legen. Einfrieren frischer Lebensmittel Der Gefrierraum eignet sich zum Einfrieren von frischen Lebensmitteln und zum längerfristigen Lagern von bereits gefrorenen und tiefgefrorenen Lebensmitteln.

Achten Sie beim Hineinlegen von frischen, noch ungefrorenen Lebensmitteln darauf, dass sie keinen Kontakt mit Gefriergut bekommen, da dieses sonst antauen könnte. Magere Lebensmittel lassen sich besser und länger als fetthaltige lagern; durch Salz wird die maximale Lagerungsdauer verkürzt.

Die Tür ist nicht richtig geschlossen oder die Dichtung hat sich verformt/ist verschmutzt. Siehe „Schließen der Tür“. Der Wasserablaufstopfen sitzt nicht richtig.
Störung An der Rückwand des Kühlschranks befindet sich zu viel Kondenswasser. Die Tür geht nicht leicht auf. Mögliche Ursache Abhilfe Die Reifschicht ist dicker als 4 - 5 mm. Tauen Sie das Gerät ab. Die Tür wurde zu häufig geöffnet. Öffnen Sie die Tür nur, wenn es notwendig ist. Die Funktion FastFreeze ist eingeschaltet. Siehe hierzu „FastFreezeFunktion“. Die Tür wurde zu oft geöffnet.
