Electrical connection WARNING! Risk of fire and electric shock. • The appliance must be earthed. • Make sure that the parameters on the rating plate are compatible with the electrical ratings of the mains power supply. • Always use a correctly installed shockproof socket. • Do not use multi-plug adapters and extension cables. • Make sure not to cause damage to the electrical components (e.g. mains plug, mains cable, compressor).
Disposal WARNING! Risk of injury or suffocation. • Disconnect the appliance from the mains supply. • Cut off the mains cable and discard it. • Remove the door to prevent children and pets to be closed inside of the appliance. • The refrigerant circuit and the insulation materials of this appliance are ozonefriendly. • The insulation foam contains flammable gas. Switching on Connect the mains plug to the power socket. Press the ON/OFF button if the display is off. The temperature indicators show the set default temperature. To select a different set temperature refer to "Temperature regulation". If DEMO appears on the display, refer to "Troubleshooting". If the door remains open for a few minutes, the light will turn off automatically. The light is reset by closing and opening the door. Switching off Press the ON/OFF button for 5 seconds. The display turns off.
1. Press Functions button until the corresponding icon appears. The ChildLock indicator flashes. 2. Press OK to confirm. The ChildLock indicator is shown. To deactivate the ChildLock function, repeat the procedure until the ChildLock indicator goes off. DrinksChill function The DrinksChill function is to be used to set an acoustic alarm at the preferred time, useful for example when a recipe requires to cool down food products for a certain period of time.
Using a foldable shelf This appliance is equipped with a shelf consisting of two parts. The front half of the shelf can be placed under the second half to make better use of space. To fold the shelf: 1. Take out the front half gently. 2. Slide it onto the lower rail and under the second half. 1 2 Positioning the door shelves To permit storage of food packages of various sizes, the door shelves can be placed at different heights. 1. Gradually pull the shelf up until it comes free. 2.
4. Rotate the whole drawer about 90° clockwise until you will be able to remove it safely from the fridge. Vegetable drawer The drawer is suitable for storing fruit and vegetables. To reassemble: 1. Pull out the rails. To remove the drawer (e.g. for cleaning): 1. Pull out the drawer and lift it up. 2. Place the rear part of the drawer (1) on the rails. 2. Push the rails inside the cabinet to avoid damage to the appliance when closing the door. 2 1 3.
Pull out the drawer again and check if it is placed correctly on both rear and front hooks. FreeStore The refrigerator compartment is equipped with a device that allows rapid cooling of food and keeps a more uniform temperature in the compartment. This device activates automatically when needed, for example for a quick temperature recovery after door opening or when the ambient temperature is high.
Storage of frozen food When first starting-up or after a period out of use, before putting the products in the compartment let the appliance run at least 2 hours on the higher settings. In the event of accidental defrosting, for example due to a power failure, if the power has been off for longer than the value shown in the technical characteristics chart under "rising time", the defrosted food must be consumed quickly or cooked immediately and then re-frozen (after cooling).

The equipment has to be cleaned regularly: 1. Clean the inside and accessories with lukewarm water and some neutral soap. 2. Regularly check the door seals and wipe clean to ensure they are clean and free from debris. 3. Rinse and dry thoroughly. 4. If accessible, clean the condenser and the compressor at the back of the appliance with a brush. This operation will improve the performance of the appliance and save electricity consumption.
Periods of non-operation When the appliance is not in use for long periods, take the following precautions: 4. Leave the door/doors open to prevent unpleasant smells. 1. Disconnect the appliance from electricity supply. 2. Remove all food. 3. Defrost (if necessary) and clean the appliance and all accessories. WARNING! If you want to keep the appliance switched on, ask somebody to check it once in a while to prevent the food inside from spoiling in case of a power failure.

Verwenden einer zusammenschiebbaren Ablage Dieses Gerät ist mit einer aus zwei Teilen bestehenden Ablage ausgestattet. Lagern von gefrorenen Lebensmitteln Lassen Sie das Gerät vor der ersten Inbetriebnahme oder nach einer Zeit, in der das Gerät nicht benutzt wurde, mindestens 2 Stunden lang mit höherer Einstellung laufen, bevor Sie Lebensmittel in das Gefrierfach legen.
Hinweise für die Kühlung frischer Lebensmittel So erzielen Sie die besten Ergebnisse: • Legen Sie keine warmen Lebensmittel oder dampfende Flüssigkeiten in den Kühlschrank. • Decken Sie die Lebensmittel ab oder verpacken Sie diese entsprechend, besonders wenn sie stark riechen. • Legen Sie die Lebensmittel so hinein, dass um sie Luft frei zirkulieren kann.
• Aufgetaute Lebensmittel verderben sehr schnell und eignen sich nicht für ein erneutes Einfrieren. • Das Haltbarkeitsdatum auf der Tiefkühlkostverpackung darf nicht überschritten werden. REINIGUNG UND PFLEGE WARNUNG! Siehe Kapitel Sicherheitshinweise. Allgemeine Warnhinweise VORSICHT! Ziehen Sie vor jeder Wartungsmaßnahme immer den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose. Dieses Gerät enthält Kohlenwasserstoffe in seinem Kältekreislauf.
Abtauen des Gefrierraums VORSICHT! Entfernen Sie Reif und Eis vom Verdampfer niemals mit scharfen metallischen Gegenständen, da dieser dadurch beschädigt werden könnte. Versuchen Sie nicht, den Abtauvorgang durch andere als vom Hersteller empfohlene mechanische oder sonstige Hilfsmittel zu beschleunigen. Ein Temperaturanstieg des Gefrierguts während des Abtauens des Geräts kann die Lagerzeit dieser Lebensmittel verkürzen.

Testen Sie, ob ein anderes Gerät an dieser Steckdose funktioniert. Wenden Sie sich an eine Elektrofach‐ kraft. Das Gerät erzeugt Geräu‐ sche. Unebenheiten im Boden wurden nicht ausgeglichen.

Setzen Sie den Wasserab‐ laufstopfen richtig ein. Die Lebensmittel sind nicht richtig verpackt. Verpacken Sie die Lebens‐ mittel richtig. Die Temperatur ist nicht richtig eingestellt. Siehe Kapitel „Betrieb“.
