Noviksidingproductsaremanufacturedwithverydurablebuildingproductmaterialsand,asageneralrule,
therainissufficientforcleaning.However,theremaybedirtaccumulation,otherdepositsormildewandit
is necessary to clean it at least once a year to remove them. Mostly, soap and water, a soft brush and a
garden hose are sufficient. For more difficult stains, you can use one‐third cup of detergent (for example,
Tide), 2/3 cup (157,72 ml) trisodiumphosphate (for example,Soilax) and 4 quarts (4.5liters) of water. For
mildew,substituteonequartofsodiumhypochloriteat5%(forexample,Clorox)to1quart(1.1l)ofwater.
Youmustnotuseapressurewashingdevice.
CAUTION:Donotexceedtherecommendedconcentrationlevelsforcleaning productsasyou maydamage
the surface of the products. Avoid contact with skin and eyes, and in any case follow the manufacturer's
instructionsontheuseoftheproductsandcleaningsolutions.Avoidabrasivecleaningproductsandstrong
solvents. Try cleaning a small area before use. To minimize the formation of scratches, working from the
bottomtothetopandthenrinsewithcleanwater.Avoidrubbingtoohard, asitcandamagetheproducts
andcauseundesirableglossyareasonthefinish.
LimitedhaildamageWarranty:you mustrequestthereimbursementofthecostsof repairorreplacement
for Novik materials damaged in your or any other applicable insurance or homeowners insurance policy.
After getting the refundfrom your insurance, if you have incurred expenses to buy products that are
neededtoreplacetheNovikproductsthathavebeendamagedbythehailandifsuchexpensesaregreater
thantheamountpaidbyyourinsurance(excludingyourinsurancedeductible),wewillrefundthedifference
up to a maximum of the cost of the equivalent quality products that replace the damaged products. You
must pay all costs that exceed such costs. We assume no responsibility for the labour costs incurred to
remove,replaceorinstallanyproducts.
In the event of repair, replacement or refinishing the products underthis Warranty, it will extendonly for
theremainingperiodoftheoriginalWarranty.
If we decide to repair or replace a damaged product under this Warranty, we will also cover reasonable
laborcostsatourdiscretion.
Whatisnotcoveredbythiswarranty(Exclusions)
Thiswarrantydoesnotcover:
1. Damage arising from improper, defective, or non‐adherence to the rules of art or to the
prevailingbuildingandconstructioncodesorNovikinstructions;
2.Damageduetoaninappropriatestoragebeforetheinstallationoftheproducts;
3. Normal aging caused by bad weather which is defined as damaging effects of sunlight and
extremes of weather and atmosphere that may cause discoloration of any surface or cause it to
become soiled or stained. Atmospheric elements cause gradual and uniform changes over time.
Normal aging caused by the weather varies depending on air quality, pollution, the location of
buildingsorotherlocalconditionsoverwhichNovikhasnocontrol.

5.Soilcompaction;
6.Shrinkageordistortionofthebuildingstructure;
