Warranty is valid even if you do not send the Warranty registration form, however, the Warranty
registration confirms the date of purchase of the products and helps Novik to process claims under the
Warranty.Pleasekeepyourproofofpurchaseasitwillberequiredifyouneedtosubmitaclaim.
HowdoyoutransfertheWarranty?
Inthe casewhere the Warranty istransferable, you (andsubsequent owners of the building, if applicable)
cantransferthisWarrantypreferablybysendingtoNovikanoticewithinaperiodof60daysfromthedate
ofthetransferofthebuilding.ThenoticemustincludetheWarrantyregistrationnumber,theaddressofthe
building,the name and mailingaddress (if different),new ownersand the dateof the transfer. Thenotice
must be sent to Novik, Warranty service registration, 160 des GrandsLacs, SaintAugustindeDesmaures
(Québec)G3A2K1.Pleasekeepyourproofofpurchaseasitwillberequiredifyouneedtosubmitaclaim.
Conditions of the Warranty after the transfer are described in detail above. After the transfer of the
building,thenewownerassumesyourobligations.
HowtosubmitaWarrantyclaim?
You must send us a written claim withintheWarrantyperiod and within a reasonabletime from the date
youdiscoveredthedefect.

You must send us: the description of the claimed defectand thedate that you discovered the defect, the
initialinstallationdate,photosofdefectiveproductsandtheinvoiceofpurchaseoftheproductandforthe
installation.

NOVIKwillcontactyouifadditionalevidenceandinformationarenecessarytoprocesstheclaim.Itmaybe
necessarytosend usasample ofthedefectiveproductat theexpenseof the ownerofthe building.If the
ownerwishesthatthesamplebereturned,Novikchargesa$25handlingfee.Atitsdiscretion,Novikmay
alsoatitsexpensedelegateoneofitsrepresentativestoinspectonsiteproducts.
