Noviksidingproductsaremanufacturedwithverydurablebuildingproductmaterialsand,asageneralrule,
therainissufficientforcleaning.However,theremaybedirtaccumulation,otherdepositsormildewandit
is necessary to clean it at least once a year to remove them. Mostly, soap and water, a soft brush and a
garden hose are sufficient. For more difficult stains, you can use one‐third cup of detergent (for example,
Tide), 2/3 cup (157,72 ml) trisodiumphosphate (for example, Soilax) and 4 quarts (4.5 liters) of water. For
mildew,substituteonequartofsodiumhypochloriteat5%(forexample,Clorox)to1quart(1.1l)ofwater.
Youmustnotuseapressurewashingdevice.
CAUTION:Donotexceedtherecommendedconcentrationlevelsforcleaningproductsasyoumaydamage
the surface of the products. Avoid contact with skin and eyes, and in any case follow the manufacturer's
instructionsontheuseoftheproductsandcleaningsolutions.Avoidabrasivecleaningproductsandstrong
solvents. Try cleaning a small area before use. To minimize the formation of scratches, working from the
bottomtothe topandthenrinsewithcleanwater.Avoidrubbingtoohard,asitcandamagetheproducts
andcauseundesirableglossyareasonthefinish.
LimitedhaildamageWarranty:you must requestthe reimbursementofthecostsofrepairor replacement
for Novik materials damaged in your or any other applicable insurance or homeowners insurance policy.
Aftergettingtherefundfromyourinsurance,ifyouhaveincurredexpensestobuyproductsthatareneeded
toreplacetheNovikproductsthathavebeendamagedbythehailandifsuchexpensesaregreaterthanthe
amountpaidbyyourinsurance(excludingyourinsurancedeductible),wewillrefundthedifferenceuptoa
maximumofthecostoftheequivalentqualityproductsthatreplacethedamagedproducts.Youmustpay
all costs that exceed such costs. We assume no responsibility for the labour costs incurred to remove,
replaceorinstallanyproducts.
In the event of repair,replacement or refinishing theproducts under this Warranty,it will extend only for
theremainingperiodoftheoriginalWarranty.
If we decide to repair or replace a damaged product under this Warranty, we will also cover reasonable
laborcostsatourdiscretion.
Whatisnotcoveredbythiswarranty(Exclusions)
Thiswarrantydoesnotcover:
1. Damage arising from improper, defective, or non‐adherence to the rules of art or to the prevailing
buildingandconstructioncodesorNovikinstructions;
2. Damageduetoaninappropriatestoragebeforetheinstallationoftheproducts;
3. Normalagingcausedbybadweatherwhichisdefinedasdamagingeffectsofsunlightandextremesof
weather and atmosphere that may cause discoloration of any surface or cause it to become soiled or
stained.Atmosphericelementscausegradualand uniformchangesovertime.Normalagingcaused by
theweathervariesdependingonairquality,pollution,thelocationofbuildingsorotherlocalconditions
overwhichNovikhasnocontrol.
4. Accidentaldamage;
5. Soilcompaction;
6. Shrinkageordistortionofthebuildingstructure;
