With its Home software, Nero is taking a leap toward

the "digital home". This application is especially prac-

tical thanks to its seamless integration with the "Nero

8" software suite.

A great advantage is its ability to transcode media

files that are not supported by the playback device

into a format the playback device can read. You can

also specify which format should be exchanged over

the network.

Microsoft Media

Player 11

Media Player 11 is an easy-to-use UPnP implementa-

tion by Microsoft for Windows XP and Vista. It also

supports files subject to Microsoft Digital Rights Man-

agement.

Elgato EyeConnect

EyeConnect is currently one of the most convenient

UPnP implementations for Apple Macintosh. After

startup and a brief configuration, it makes the content

of the iTunes library available to the NOXON, including

support for static and dynamic playlists. AAC content

(with DRM) is not supported at present.
