In this menu item, the date and time can be set.
You have already done this in the setup wizard
at the beginning – but perhaps you want to take
the NOXON iRadio along with you on holiday,
are moving or the switch from standard to sum-
mer (daylight saving) time is around the corner.
Whatever the case, you can change all this under
[Set Time/Date]. The manual setting is accomplished easily using the navigation dial and
push function. After successful entry, the time and the date are set.
If you want even more convenience, you can also obtain the time and date from the
Internet via [Auto update]. How many people have a clock at home that is perfectly ac-
curate? The NOXON iRadio automatically uses an NTP server (NTP stands for Network
Time Protocol) to synchronise.
To change the time format, select [Set format]. Please select between the 24 hour clock
or the 12 hour clock here. Please note that if you select the 12 hour display, the clock will
not display AM or PM at the end. But we hope that a simple glance out the window will
prevent any misunderstanding!
Under [Set timezone] you can select the time zone in which you are at the moment. It
starts with CET (Central European Time) and goes once around the world!
