Description
Clean Guard and Clean Guard XL are reusable maintenance
bags specifically for use by HVAC contractors to clean wall-
mounted mini-splits with Nu-Calgon cleaners/disinfectants
when the indoor coil and blower require service. Clean
Guard installs in seconds with its use of a durable braided
elastic band with wheel lock that simply and quickly
adjusts around the indoor unit. There is nothing more
simple and quick to use in the market! The device provides
360-degree coverage to protect overspray on the walls, an
integrated eight-foot drain line and heavy duty design to
allow its reuse. For future use, Clean Guard simply needs
to be rinsed, dried and stored in the five-gallon bucket
used to collect the cleaning solution during service. Any
readily available plastic five-gallon bucket can be used
with Clean Guard.
Application
Clean Guard, as well as Clean Guard XL, are professional
use, heavy duty maintenance bags for indoor wall-mounted
mini-splits when using Nu-Calgon cleaners/disinfectants.
Clean Guard fits systems up to 12,000 BTU/hr (1 ton)
cooling capacity. Use the Clean Guard XL for systems
between 18,000 to 36,000 BTU/hr (1.5 to 3 tons); both
types are reusable. The Clean Guard CC is specifically
for ceiling cassette systems. The adjustable elastic band
allows for quick installation by simply adjusting completely
around the coil to provide protection to the wall. The Clean
Guard does not cover exposed electronics, so care must
be taken to protect the electrical components during
cleaning.
