IMAGEAXS PRO MACINTOSH USERS GUIDE
STEP 2 If you click either of the bottom two radio buttons, click the text
entry field and type the footer text you want to appear on the
selected Web pages.
If you want to include HTML-formatted text (such as a
URL) in the footer, click to put a check mark in the
Allow HTML Tags checkbox below the text entry box.
N
OTE
If the Allow HTML Tags checkbox is selected, high-bit ASCII characters
(such as “smart quotes” or copyright © symbols) in the footer will not be
converted properly.
The default footer text is the collection information for the collection
whose records are being used in the Web pages (for details, see
“Collection Info” on page 3-3).

EMPLATES
A variety of Web page templates are contained in the Web Templates
folder inside the folder where you installed ImageAXS Pro. They can
be edited using any normal word processing application.
The pages ImageAXS Pro creates are essentially tables containing
thumbnail images and (if you specify them in the Create Web Pages
dialog box) links to other Web pages. The standard template files use
extensions that define area substitutions for graphics within the
page. These extensions are described below for your use in editing
the standard templates or creating new ones.
Be sure to store any template files you create in the Web Templates
folder in the same folder where you installed ImageAXS Pro.
AREA EXTENSIONS
These define the appearance of the page. Place area extensions on
separate lines, without any other code.
N
OTE
The first three extensions can only appear once per template.
<!--IAXPAGE> AND </IAXPAGE-->
Used to define the page itself; usually contains an HTML table
definition.
<!--IAXTR>
AND </IAXTR-->
Typically used to define the rows of the table; must be inside
IAXPAGE brackets.
<!--IAXTD>
AND </IAXTD-->
Contains the definition of one logical cell (which can actually be
several consecutive cells in a row); must be inside IAXTR brackets.
