To index a field:
• In the row corresponding to the field you wish to index, click the Indexed
checkbox.
SAVING YOUR CHANGES
Click Save when you are done making changes to a collection format
(or Save As if you would like to save the altered format under a
different name.)
When you are finished making changes to all collection formats, click
Done to close the Edit Formats dialog box and return to the New
Collection dialog box.

ATABASE TYPE
ImageAXS Pro is a single-user application, but it can be used with
data sources other than the built-in ImageAXS database engine.
To choose a database type:
• Click the Database pull-down menu and select the database type you
want from the list that appears.
NOTE
Use the ImageAXS internal database (the default choice) unless you know
the exact database type you want. Mistakes in this setting may cause your
computer to crash.
