Bolt two nuts (7) onto hinge bolt (4) with tension plate (6) between them.
Place post collar (3) on main post and fasten assembled hinge bolt from step #1 with a nut (7).
Assemble bottom frame collar (1) on gate frame with nuts and bolts (2) and place on hinge bolt (4).
Place spring (5) on hinge bolt (4) and set bottom spring prong through hole in spring tension
plate (6) and behind post; and set top spring prong in front of gate frame.
Assemble top frame collar (1) on gate frame with nuts and bolts (2) and place on hinge bolt (4).
Adjust the spring tension by moving spring tension plate (6).
Align gate and tighten all nuts and bolts.
Install 1” Finial inserts on top of the gate frame if applicable (Diamond & Sapphire styles only).
