Then cock the pistol crossbow using the bend cocking mechanism as shown in Fig. 5. Take out the Red Back bow string and hook it onto the correct spot as shown in Fig. 6.

LOADING | LADEN | CHARGER | CARGAR Before loading a bolt onto your pistol crossbow, make sure the safety is in the LOCKED position by pulling the red safety button backwards. WARNINGS | WARNHINWEISE | MISE EN GARDE | AVISOS Never point your crossbow at anything you do not intend to shoot at. Always make sure that flying bolts cannot injure persons or animals or cause other damage. Always make sure that you cannot hit anything outside the shooting area and also make sure that you use an adequate backstop (danger of ricochetting bolts). Keep a minimum safety distance of at least 200 m Never dry-fire your crossbow. This will damage the weapon, especially the bowstring.
Orienter votre arbalète qu´en direction de la cible. Rassurez vous, toujours que la flèche ne puisse blessé une personne, un animal ou encore détérioré du matériel quelconque. Le champ de tir doit être libre de tout accessoires pouvant influencer la direction de la flèche ( ricocher ) Le rayon de sécurité a respecter et égale à la distance maximum de tir ( 200 m ) N’utiliser non plus l’arbalète a vide ( sans flèche ). Ne jamais suspendre ou transporter l’arbalète par son boyau.
