13.3 SPI Features
Serial preipheral interface (SPI) fetures include:
• Full-duplex operation
• Master mode and slave mode
• Programmable slave-select output option
• Programmable bidirectional data pin option
• Interrupt-driven operation with two flags:
– Transmission complete
– Mode fault
• Read data buffer
• Serial clock with programmable polarity and phase
• Reduced drive control for lower power consumption
• Programmable open-drain output option
