Memory map
4.1 Memory map
The HCS08 core processor can address 64 KB of memory space. The memory map,
shown in the following figure, includes:
• User flash memory (flash)
• MC9S08PA60: 60,864 bytes; 119 pages of 512 bytes each
• MC9S08PA32: 32,768 bytes; 64 pages of 512 bytes each
• Random-access memory (RAM)
• MC9S08PA60: 4,096 bytes
• MC9S08PA32: 4,096 bytes
• Electrically erasable programmable read-only memory (EEPROM)
• MC9S08PA60: 256 bytes; 128 pages of 2 bytes each
• MC9S08PA32: 256 bytes; 128 pages of 2 bytes each
• Direct-page registers (0x0000 through 0x003F)
• High-page registers (0x3000 through 0x30FF)
