Power Management Controller
14.1 Introduction

instances see the chip configuration chapter.
The PMC contains the internal voltage regulator, power on reset (POR), and low voltage
detect system.
The Mode Controller controls the PMC and its chapter contains description of all device
resets, including POR.
14.2 Features
Power management control features include:
• Internal voltage regulator
• Active POR providing brown-out detect
• Low-voltage detect protection including:
• Multiple programmable trip voltages
• Warning and detect interrupt control
• Drive a reset on low voltage detect
14.3 Low-Voltage Detect (LVD) System
This device includes a system to protect against low-voltage conditions to protect
memory contents and control MCU system states during supply voltage variations. The
system is comprised of a power-on reset (POR) circuit and a LVD circuit with a user-
