Wireless Connectivity
To update IP info
Tap Start > Settings > Connections tab >
WiFi Utility > IP Info tab.
This tab shows all related IP address
information including DHCP, DNS, WINS
server and gateway, etc. for advance users.
Operation Buttons
• Renew – Renew IP address from DHCP
server for this Network card.
• Ping – Ping another IP/Host Name in the
network (refer to the picture below).
IP Address/Host Name: Enter an IP
address or host name to ping. When
a host name (eg. www.yahoo.com) is
entered, the Resolve target name box
needs to be checked.
10.3 WiFi Utility
WiFi is a type of wireless local area network
that communicates between two devices via
high frequency radio waves. Your O

Flame supports Wireless LAN, which is IEEE
802.11b/g compliant. It allows your device
to connect to the Internet with detected
wireless network.
To activate WiFi
1. Tap Start > Settings > Connections tab
> Wireless Manager.
2. Tap WirelessLAN to activate wireless
network.
3. Tap
OK to exit.
To check your WiFi status
Tap Start > Settings > Connections tab>
WiFi Utility.

phone’s wireless LAN connection,
including SSID, BSSID, Channel, Tx Rate,
IP Address, MAC address and Strength.
2. Periodically updated scanning results in
the Active SSIDs window that lists all the
access points and peer stations available
around the host.
3. A configuration tool that enables you to
create and edit SSID profiles for your
station to associate or join with.
To configure WiFi settings
To Setup WLAN using WiFi Utility , Tap
Start > Settings > Connections tab > WiFi
Utility.
