Getting started
Please note
Using any battery pack or AC adapter (charger) not specified/endorsed by O
2
with this phone
may be dangerous and may invalidate any warranty and approval given with the phone. Unplug
the charger from the power supply when it is not in use.
Charging the battery
A new battery must be fully charged (for 4 hours) before being used for the first time. You may
charge the battery in the following ways:
• Universal AC Adapter: Connect the
battery charger to a suitable main power
socket and plug the charger into the
connector of your O
2
Xda Flame. Note
the orientation when plugging in.
• USB Cable: Connect your O
2
Xda
Flame to your PC’s USB port with the
USB cable supplied, as shown below.
Please note
• When charging, make sure that the phone has its battery inserted. Place the battery’s
metallic end towards the phone’s metallic part. Please refer to 2.1 Inserting the battery
& SIM/USIM card and 2.2 SIM/USIM card for inserting the battery correctly.
• During charging, the LED lights up orange. When charging is completed, the orange
light goes off.
Checking the battery
The battery indicator displays the battery charge level. Check the icon at the upper right
corner of the Today screen.
