Messaging
Items Description
Tools
This option helps you to Sort By, Manage Folders, Empty Deleted
Items, Clear “MMS”, create New Account, and access more features.
Sort by: Choose how to view MMS messages by Message Type,
From, Received, and Subject.
Manage Folders: On selecting this option, you get the MMS folder
list, where you can create new folders rename, delete and view folder
options.
Please note
System folders (including Inbox, Deleted Items, Drafts, Outbox,
and Sent Items) cannot be deleted.
Empty Deleted Items: An alert message asks if you want to delete
all messages permanently, which cannot be recovered once deleted.
Clear MMS
: Clear all the messages in your Inbox and Sent Items
folders. Tap Yes to confirm deletion.
New Account: To create a new E-mail account.
Options: You can edit account settings for your messages, address
book and storage. Please refer to Chapter 5.1 Text.
MMS Settings
This option helps you to set the MMSC settings, Send settings,
Receive settings, General and About.
MMSC settings: From this list, choose the profile that you want
to use to send the MMS. Tap Edit to see the profile name and the
MMSC, Data Connection, Gateway, IP Address and Port.
Send: From the drop down menus, choose Priority (Low, Normal
or High), Validity Period (Maximum, 1 week, 1 day, 12 hours),
Defered Delivery (Immediate, After 1 hour, After 1 day, After 1 week,
Custom), Message Type ( Personal, Advertisement, Informational,
Automatic), Message Size ( 30KB, 100KB, 300KB). Check Delivery
Report, Read report and Hide Sender to activate these options.

Receive: Choose the type of reception you receive when you are at
Home or Roaming; choose from Automatic, Manual or Restricted.
Check the boxes to choose which messages to allow: Personal,
Informational, Advertisement or Automatic. Check the box to
Reject Anonymous Messages.
General: Choose the number of attempts it takes to send the
message from, 1 ~ 6.
