Assembly Instructions:
It is suggested that you assemble product on a soft surface to avoid any damage to the finish.
1st. Place the Chair Seat B upside down on to a soft surface, connect the (4) Chair Legs C using (8) slotted stud bolts, (8)
flat washers, (8) Lock Washers and (8) nuts. First thread (8) of the slotted stud bolts into the threaded holes of the
Chair Seat B. Using a slotted screwdriver tighten the slotted stud bolts but do not over tighten as damage or thread
stripping may occur. Next, attach Chair Leg C. Aligning the (2) thru holes in Chair Leg C with (2) of the slotted stud
bolts in Chair Seat B, slip the slotted stud bolts thru the holes in the Chair Leg C. Next, place a flat washer and then a
lock washer on to the slotted stud bolt. Finally HAND TIGHTEN nuts onto the slotted stud bolts. Follow the same
steps for the remaining (3) chair legs. Remember to only hand tighten the nuts at this point.
2nd. Thread the two remaining slotted stud bolts into the two threaded holes in the Chair Back A. Next attach the Chair
Back A to the Chair Seat B by inserting the slotted stud bolts thru the (2) remaining holes in the Chair Seat B and
securing with a Flat washer, a Lock Washer and a Nut in that order on each of the slotted stud bolts. Again only,
hand Tighten at this point.
3rd. Stand the assembled chair up in its normal position on a flat level surface. Adjust the (4) Chair Legs C so they are
evenly spaced and the chair sits level, adjust the Chair Back A so it is aligned to the desired final position. Finally
using an adjustable wrench tighten all the nuts to completely secure the (4) Chair Legs C and the Chair Back A to the
Chair Seat B. Never over tighten the assembly hardware as damage or breakage may occur.
4th. After assembly is completed and before first use verify the chair sits level and is stable.
Caution This table is constructed of cast metal and is brittle. Never force any part of the assembly and do not
over-tighten the fasteners, severe damage may occur.
Oxidation of cast iron: The cast iron component of the product is finished with a powder coating process that protects the iron from
rusting. However, due to the nature of the iron, rusting is inevitable. It is recommended that the consumer touch up any surface that is
scratched or damaged due to wear and tear. Applying an epoxy clear coating is recommended once a year.
Aluminum: The products with aluminum components please be reminded that aluminum is soft metal it is therefore necessary to
exercise caution when tightening nuts/bolts/screws on aluminum parts to prevent damaging the treads on the metal.
Solid Brass Fasteners: The fasteners provided are made with solid brass. This item will tarnish after weathering. A brass polish can be
use to keep the screws shiny or you can leave it untouched to give it a patina/antique look.
Weathering of wood: The wood component of the product is treated with a penetrating oil stain that is designed to protect from the
elements. However, it is recommended to re-stain the wood once a year (depending on the weather conditions in your area) to restore the
beauty of the product and to prolong the life of the wood.
