ROOF FLASHINGS

INSTRUCTION GUIDE

Make sure the roof is free of all debris and is ready for

shingle installation.

Chamfer the pipe end prior to the ashing installation.

Install the shingles in rows starting from the bottom

of the roof and work upwards to the peak. (Be sure to

overlap the row below for good waterproong qualities.)

Once you are near the pipe penetration, push the ashing down over the chamfered pipe end

and position it ush against the felt paper layer and shingles.

Secure the ashing with roong nails and make sure that all nails are concealed under the next

few rows of shingles to keep the roong system leak free.

Install the shingles in rows to the top of the roof.

Test the ashing by running water over it for 3 to 5 minutes.
