Measure and cut copper pipe to the desired length.
Deburr and clean the outside of the pipe ends with Oatey
Sand Cloth, Mesh or Grit Pad, then clean the inside of
the tting hub with one of Oatey’s tting brushes.
Apply a light coating of approved Oatey Flux to the pipe
end and tting hub with an acid brush.
Remove any excess ux and push the pipe into the tting hub.
Heat the pipe joint evenly until the solder ows.
Remove the heat after the joint is lled.
While the joint is still warm, wipe it clean with a clean and dry rag.
