GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Set the temperature control to OFF and plug the cord into a 120V AC outlet.
2. Ensure the Dome lid is properly placed on the bottom pan. The actuator
switch must align with the pour port on the back of the bottom pan to
actuate the switch to turn power on to the lid.
3. Set temperature control to the desired temperature.
NOTE: The oberdome preheats much more quickly than standard ovens or roasters and should
be heated to set temperature and ready to use in just 5-8 minutes. Note that the unit will not heat
unless the Dome lid is seated properly on the bottom pan. The indicator light will turn on if the unit
is heating properly. The indicator light may cycle on and off during the cooking process.
4. When the unit is preheated, remove the Dome lid from the bottom pan and
place on the square cooling racks.
WARNING: NEVER PLACE THE HEATED Dome lid DIRECTLY ON ANY SURFACE.
ALWAYS PLACE LID ON THE INCLUDED COOLING RACKS.
