Thenameofalogfileconsistsofthecomponent'sname,atime stampandtheWindowsprocess ID.
TheWindowsprocessIDisneededsincemultipleenginesofthesametypecouldberunningatthe
sametime,dependingontheengineconfiguration(see"Engineconfiguration"onpage87)andthe
sizeofajob.
Format
Thelogfilesaretextfilesthatcanbeopenedinanytextprocessor.Eachlogfilecontainsaheadersec-
tioncontainingasnapshotofthecurrentworkingenvironment(Connectversion,operatingsystem,sys-
temlocalesettings,diskandRAMinformation,andsuchlike).
Thelogginglevelisconfigurable,aswellastheexactformat-the"loggingpattern"-oftheindividual
logmessages.
