ItishighlyrecommendedthatyouupdatetheObjectif Lune Update ClientbeforeupgradingPlan-
etPressConnectfromversion1.7toversion2018.2.
IfyoudonotupdatetheUpdateClient,anunexpectederrormightoccurwhilstupdatingConnect.This
errordoesnotpreventthesuccessfulupgradeofConnectto2018.2,eventhoughitappearsasifit
mighthave.Toavoidpotentialconfusion,werecommendthatyoufirstupdatetheObjectif Lune
Update ClientbeforeattemptingtoupgradeConnectfromversion1.7.
TheUpdateClientwillshowthatthereisanupdateavailableforitself.Simplyclickonthedownloadbut-
toninthedialogtoinstallthenewversionoftheUpdateClient.Notethatitisnoproblemtorunthe
updatewhiletheClientitselfisstillopen.Itautomaticallyupdatesitself.
Reduced Memory Version
ItispossibletoinstallPlanetPressConnectonamachinewithaminimumof2GBofRAM.ThePlan-
etPressConnectDesignerwillautomaticallydetectwhetherithasbeeninstalledonamachinewith
lessthan4GBofRAManddefaulttoonlyusingoneinternalWeaverandoneinternalmergeengineon
thatsystem.TheServerwillalsorunusinginternalengines.
